Welcome to The Ridgeway Country Holiday Park

The Ridgeway Country Holiday Park sits in a quiet leafy lane on the side of a pretty, gently sloping valley, two miles from the attractive Cheshire market town of Frodsham and nine miles from the historic Roman city of Chester.

The park is bordered by the Sandstone Trail, a walk stretching from Frodsham to Whitchurch along Cheshire’s sandstone ridge,”the finest and most popular middle-distance walk in northwest England”.

  Visited this park today and I must admit, it has some of the nicest views I have seen on a park. Small family run country site that makes you feel like you're in a home away from home 😁

  We own a static on this beautiful site. If you like peace tranquility & countryside its the most wonderful place to be. The owners of the site Sue & David can't do enough for you they have a beautiful family. We just love having our breaks here & you are so near to the Wales border Chester & Frodsham is a brilliant village plenty of shops bars & lovely bakery's. Patricia & Graham Elliott

  Facebook won't allow us enough text to put simply how unbelievable this place is. Extremely inviting, friendly and fantastic couple Dave and Sue that own and run the park with their dog :) . Extremely relaxing, quiet and absolutely perfect location for the park.... THE best caravan we have ever stayed in. Spotless, spacious and that well equipped it could of been a cottage. Cannot say enough about this place with the beautiful scenery, walks and local areas and the couple that run it are just plain awesome! Thankyou guys. Samantha, Michael and Hooch!   We've just had a holiday here and it couldn't have been better. The park is beautifully kept, it's so very peaceful, not noisy, no kids running around, the owners and staff are very friendly and don't bother you unless you need help. We would recommend it to everyone and WILL be back again and again. We felt so chilled out and refreshed, thank you so much

  Great site and lovely location. Cheshire oaks is only 15-20mins away and Chester Zoo roundabout the same. Frodsham is a lovely village which is 5mins from the site also which has plenty of places to get a takeaway and there is also a Morrisons supermarket. The only thing that I would like to see improved is the WiFi it is free but not the best. The caravan itself was spacious and was decked outside which was great to just chill out on at night with a beer. ... Overall a great site and we would definitely recommend it to anyone and will be recommending it to friends and family. See more

  We have stayed here a few times over the years and have just spent a couple of days for half term, we have stayed in the lodges and caravans! Sue and David always offer a high standard of accommodation, friendly warm welcome and are very approachable...its a pleasure staying here and I would recommended highly. We have family in Runcorn and find Ridgeway a excellent base and always feel relaxed and happy returning to our accommodation after days out. Ridgeway is a hidden gem and we always look forward to staying here and its a pleasure to stay somewhere that feels like home. Thank you Sue and David ...see you soon

  Just returned home from a great week staying here , the site is lovely and is in a great spot for visiting the surrounding area , the village of frodsham is only a short 5 min drive away and our children loved exploring the surrounding woods , we would definitely stay here again if we revisited the area :-)

First of all relax …….

Nestling in a pretty valley, surrounded by beautiful walks, The Ridgeway Country Holiday Park is the perfect location to relax. Our hire fleet is available for 2, 3 & 4 night breaks or even longer for weeks, or more. The privately owned caravans and lodges can be used during the 10 month season.

Our local market town of Frodsham caters for all your needs, from gift shops, tea & coffee shops, bakeries as well as various pubs and restaurants. There is also a garden centre, large park and fabulous walks.

And then explore

The surrounding area has an amazing selection of places to visit and things to do all within a relatively short drive. Not just the three major cities of Chester and Liverpool and Manchester with their international airports, we are also close to north Wales, the Wirral, Shropshire and Derbyshire.

Major local attractions are Chester Zoo, Cheshire Oaks designer outlet village, Delamere Forest, National Trust, houses and gardens, Outlton Park race track and many more.
