There are plenty of things to do in Frodsham, Chester and Cheshire.   Frodsham has a large park with formal gardens, open lawns, tennis courts, a bowling green and large area of climbing frames.  Chester Zoo is 9 miles away and has over 15,000 animals set in 125 acres with award winning gardens.  The Roman city of Chester is well worth a visit: walk along the Roman walls, visit the Medieval cathedral, take a gentle stroll beside the river or take a boat tour.   If it is retail therapy you are looking for then you won’t be disappointed in visiting Chester city or Cheshire Oaks, the designer outlet village near Ellesmere Port.  For walkers, apart from the Sandstone Trail, visit Delamere Forest, the largest area of woodland in Cheshire and within walking distance of the park.
